Buses
Six different bus companies provide services in Hong Kong, covering all the major areas as well as speedy connections to and from the airport. Routes are reduced at night. Fares range from HK$1.20 for short journeys in the city to HK$45 for longer trips into the New Territories. Final destinations are marked in English and Chinese on the front top panel. Drivers rarely speak much English, but timetables and route maps are posted at bus stops.
