Most camera and electronic stores are in Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok. They seldom have price tags on the items, so bargain, compare prices and beware. Most resident expatriates prefer the camera stores in Stanley Street, Central. There is not such an extensive range there, but the shopkeepers are friendly the goods are reasonably priced and there are few reports of cheating. With electronic goods, remember to check for correct voltage, adaptors etc. Hand-held electronic games are particularly advanced in Hong Kong and make great gifts for teenagers. Hong Kong is also one of the best places in the world to buy cheap CDs.
