Travel To And From Guangzhou by Air
Guangzhou's Baiyun Airport is 10 km (6 miles) and a 30 minute drive from the city. The domestic and international terminals are housed in separate buildings. Domestic flights operate between Guangzhou and Bejing and many other large cities in China. There are international flights from Guangzhou to Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpar, Manila, Singapore, Sydney and Vientiane. With the exception of Singapore Airlines, MAS and Garuda, which have offices selling tickets in Guangzhou, tickets for international flights on Chinese and foreign carriers must be purchased from the CAAC main office.
