Traveling To Macau by Air
Macau International Airport (for enquiries tel: 861 111) provides a convenient gateway for travelers to Macau from many points in Asia. It is on the east side of Taipa Island and is linked by bridges to the downtown area. It takes less than 30 minutes to get from the airport to anywhere in Macau. Taxi Fares are about 40 Patacas (written as MP$40)
The passenger terminal has shops, restaurants, tourists information and hotel booking counters, bank, post office and other services. For transport to and from the airport, there are authorized taxies and the regular AP1 bus, which serves major hotels, the Ferry Terminal and the border gate. The fare is MOP$6.
