Hong Kong has an extremely lively nightlife scene, and you won't be short of places to party. There are plenty of western-style bars and discos, some of which attract a mainly western clientele, while others cater to a mix of locals and expats.
There are three districts in which most bars and clubs likely to appeal to visitors are located: Central, Wan Chai (including Causeway Bay) and Tsim Sha Tsui. Central is where most expats and trendy locals go after work, especially Lan Kwai Fong, SoHo and Boho. All are packed with chic bars and restaurants. Wan Chai, including nearby Causeway Bay, has a grittier nightlife scene, with many bars and discos that are in full swing in the small hours. On Kowloon side, Tsim Sha Tsui's nightlife tends to be split between bars that are exclusively for locals and those aimed mainly at tourists.
