Postal Services in Hong Kong
If you are finding your trip to Hong Kong much more expensive than you had bargained for, the postal service will come as a pleasant surprise, as it is cheap and efficient. The General Post Office is located adjacent to the Star Ferry Pier in Central and is probably the best place to buy stamps. Otherwise, post offices can be hard to find, although you can always ask the hotel to post mail for you. Post offices open 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 8am-6pm on Saturday. All post offices close on Sunday and public holidays.
